This screen will show all the printers you have installed on your machine. You must delete the old TECH printers (if installed previously from the Socrates network). Right click on the printer and select “delete” from the menu.
Then double click on Add Printer.

Click on Next to proceedwith the installation. The next screen should look like this:

Deselect Automatically detect and install my Plug and Play printer.
Select Local printer. Leave all others boxes blank. Then click on Next.
Next, select the option to create a new port and pick TCP/IP from the drop down list.

At this point you must enter the IP address of the printer you wish to add.

Click on next. The screen should look like the following:

IMPORTANT: Enter only the number, beginning with 168 or 172… and enter it only in the top box, Printer Name or IP Address.

Once you have entered the IP address, click on next. If a screen about a generic printer appears, select the default. When this screen appears, click Finish.

Even if your screen above shows "No" in the SNMP, try to continue.
Now you have to install the printer driver. Wait just a second and a screen that looks similar to the following should appear. Note: Sometimes the first line may say "No"; if it does, try to continue.
The following screenshots will show you what options to pick. For printers in T117, T222, and T224 the manufacturer is always HP. You must match the right side of the window to the correct printer.
