HOPE Grant and Scholarship Information

. . . the HOPE Grant is available and is different from the HOPE Scholarship?
. . . the School of Technology certificate programs are covered by the HOPE Grant?
. . . students in certificate programs in the College of Professional Studies may be eligible for the HOPE Grant which will pay for tuition and some fees even if they have not recently graduated from high school? (High school GPA is not a factor for eligibility for the HOPE Grant.) (For the HOPE grant, you must also have been a Georgia resident for at least a year, not defaulted on a student loan, and be otherwise eligible.) . . . Certificates in the College of Professional Studies lead to an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) program? The AAS programs lead to a Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) degree.
To qualify for the HOPE Grant (or the HOPE Scholarship) and to begin one of these programs, you must be admitted to Clayton State University as a regular student, declare a certificate major, and apply for financial aid.
Certificate Majors: Computer Networking, Marketing and Merchandising, Medical Assisting, Office Technology, Paralegal Studies
AAS Majors: Computer Networking, Marketing and Merchandising, Medical Office, Office Administration, Paralegal Studies
BAS Majors: Administrative Management, Technology Management
