College of Professional Studies
Mission Statement
The mission of the College of Professional Studies (CPS) at Clayton State University is to prepare students for entry- and mid-level management positions in variety of programs: administrative management, computer networking, dental hygiene, health care management, health and fitness management, marketing and merchandising, medical assisting, office, paralegal, and technology management. In addition, the Health Care Administration Master of Science Program expands the CPS mission to prepare professionals from both health and non-health related areas to lead health service organizations.
CPS programs are in three departments: Administrative and Technology Management, Health Care Management, and Dental Hygiene. Programs in the Administrative and Technology Management and Health Care Management departments are designed to meet the needs of working adults and provide a variety of delivery modes, including traditional in-class, 100 percent online, and partial online classes. The Dental Hygiene program is a clinic-based program offered in the day with students in cohort groups.
