Dental Hygiene - RDH/BSDH Completion Program Admissions
Apply to the university and declare dental hygiene as your major (be sure to indicate RDH completion track).
Upon acceptance to the University, attend Clayton State's mandatory orientation during which you will meet a School of Health Sciences advisor.
Consult with your advisor while satisfying program prerequisites;
- Successful completion of Regents Test and legislative requirements;
- Passing all lower division program requirements including core curriculum in area F with grades of 'C' or better;
- Achieving the determined overall GPA minimum.
Upon satisfying all program prerequisites, your academic advisor will distribute a program application for your completion.
Upon acceptance to the program, provide evidence of the following so that a block credit of 30 hours will be award:
- Current, unrestricted licensure as a registered dental hygienist in the United State (evidence required);
- Satisfactory health status, American Heart Association CPR certification, malpractice insurance, health insurance and immunizations;
- Verification of RDH practice in the past three years.
