In July 2009, Clayton State University underwent an academic reorganization that resulted in the reassignment of numerous certificate, association, and baccalaureate degree programs. The former College of Professional Studies was dissolved, and the associated academic programs which were housed there have been relocated into academic units relative to the appropriate discipline.
